About Us

INTRODUCTION: The Somerset Bengali Association was initiated as an informal socio-cultural organization in 2007. In 2009 we were formally established as a Non-Profit New Jersey Corporation. The purpose of Somerset Bengali Association is to organize cultural and educational events in New Jersey. With children being our primary focus, we would like to provide them a platform to exhibit their wonderful talents.

MEMBERSHIP: Application for membership is open to any individual showing interest to participate in cultural and educational activities of the association. Members registered before Dec 31,2010 are designated as Charter Members. There are currently 25 Charter Members.
